How It Works
  • The laser diode points at the phototransistor, and if any obstacle gets in the way the phototransistor will pull an input low.

  • The Arduino Mini is used to make the system voice activated. I used an edited version of this uSpeech Library to make this happen.

  • The PHOTON board is used to send an alert out if there is a fall.

  • I used the MIDI connector to allow for easier and cleaner wiring of my project.

  • I used all of my transistors in this project as switches.

  • The diodes are meant to limit the voltage to the laser diode and vibrating motor.
