How It Works
-
The laser diode points at the phototransistor, and if any obstacle gets in the way the phototransistor will pull an input low.

The Arduino Mini is used to make the system voice activated. I used an edited version of this uSpeech Library to make this happen.

The PHOTON board is used to send an alert out if there is a fall.

I used the MIDI connector to allow for easier and cleaner wiring of my project.

I used all of my transistors in this project as switches.
-
The diodes are meant to limit the voltage to the laser diode and vibrating motor.
